I'm such a huge fan of this series that I had to come back to volume 1 and leave a recommendation for it. Its over now (I just got the last book), and it was awesome. I won't spoil the story, but its very romantic, funny, and tear-jerking at times. (This is a total girl manga). Its got gods, demons, fantasy creatures, time-travel, and a deep love that develops in the midst of that and transcends all of it without going over the top (Nanami and Tomoe have disagreements at times like normal couples, and its usually hilarious). Its both a romance and a coming-of-age story for both main characters. Nanami is a highschool girl becoming an adult, and Tomoe is an ageless fox demon who is ~finally~ learning about love and compassion; she's young, bold, hopeful and awkward, and he's ridiculously handsome and capable but also emotionally retarded, and you get to see both of them grow up and fall in love in this series. There were moments when the pieces and hints finally came together, and I just went... kapow! Mind blown! I found the characters to be complex but easy to love (or hate). I got a little teary at the ending, which is happy and mostly ties things up. It leaves the stories of other couples in the series a little open-ended, but comes to a nice close for the main two characters with no major unanswered questions or gaping plot holes. So... five stars. Watch the anime and read the books. Its a good story.

I love that this is finally out. One of the best shoujo mangas I've ever read. I wish that the anime had continued.
I have only just read the first book and I'm hooked. The story is cute and funny! I already like the characters and I cannot wait to read more.
This manga kept me entertained from start to finish. The characters are well developed, each with their own unique personality which really makes a difference for me. I like a strong female lead and Nanami is just that. Of course the supernatural element just adds to it all the more. The plot was quick paced and left me wanting to know more. I'd definitely recommend reading it!
I stumbled across the anime while on Hulu a few months ago and watched the entire first season in a day, now the second season has started and I'm constantly checking for updates. I hadn't been sure if the anime was being picked up for anymore episodes so I started getting the manga to find out what happened with my beloved nanami and tomoe and mizuki! I do not regret it! The manga is awesome! Different than the anime but not by much. Makes me love tomoe even more!
Anybody looking for a breathtaking manga, look no further. The love story is perfection, and there's just the right amount of humor. I have read hundreds of shojo manga and I highly recommend this. One of my favorites.
After coming across the Kamisama Kiss anime I decided I must have the manga as well. Im so glad I ordered it. Although this was only the first volume, it was an enjoyable read and it arrived in perfect condition. I look forward to the next one!
