He’s a killer and has to kill an hacker who lives in the same building as the café. He suspects a man, but it’s actually Gabriella, the woman who he can’t stop thinking about. Gabriella is very scared and knows to convince Alexei that she didn’t do anything wrong. Alexei has to kill his partner and since then they’re on the run together.

I love both main characters, but I love Alexei a little bit more. He’s a strong man and I love man with an accent. As a killer, he has to be cold and distant, but he changes quickly for Gabriella. He’s immediately attracted to Gabriella. When he decided not to kill her, he becomes very protective over her and will protect her with his own life. He also helps Gabriella feel safe in public places. He really is the perfect man for Gabriella. Something horrible happened to Gabriella as a child and it still influences her life, but not so much anymore when she is with Alexei. Gabriella sees more in Alexei than a killer. I loved reading about how they fell in love with each other and couldn’t imagine being without each other.

The suspense was amazing! A lot of things happen and it is always unexpected. I really loved how the story flowed and how their relationship progressed, not too fast and not too slow. There may be a lot of chapters, but they were mostly short. Each chapter ended in a way that made me want to continue reading.

This was my first read by Helena Newbury and it won’t be my last. We meet a lot of interesting new characters and some characters from the previous books. I can’t wait to see who’s story is next. I will definitely read the rest of the series in the future!

The characters grabbed me and held my attention and wouldn't let me go. I just had to finish this book. I honestly finished this book in an hour. These characters were great. I loved the descriptions of Alexi and Gabriella. This book was fun and steamy with just the right amount of twist and turns to keep me guessing. Another winner for Ms. Newbury
Alexei and Gabriella both have troubled pasts. When he is told to kill her by his Russian Mafia boss, everything changes as they are instantly pulled to each other. Danger and adventure follows.
Helena Newbury has written another wonderful story. I really like Alexei and Gabriella's chemistry. Their story was nail biting. I loved how she has tied in her other stories in a small way. I look forward to reading more of Helena's work! I plan to buy this in format as soon as it's out.

I fell in love with Alexei on the first few pages. He comes to kill her and they both ending saving each other. I couldn't put it down. This is the kind of book you can't wait to know what's going to happen next. This book has action and dialog between the rwo main characters, and I love that. Of course it has great sex. The atraction the both of them are fighting I loved it. You will like this book. I give this book 4.8- 4.9 out of 5 stars.
This is my first book by this author and it is fantastic. I have read other stories about the Russian mob and this one wins by a landslide. When Gabriella and Alexia saw each other for the first time, it was love at first sight yet they did not know it. When Alexei was sent to kill her is when the romance begins. Together they uncover the truth about what is really going on. This is a romantic suspense with a steamy love story. If you like that genre; you will love this perspective. Get it now!
